To lose weight and keep that weight off you really need to change your eating habits and start leading a healthier and more active life. I know this is easy to say but always seems to be so hard to do, but in actual fact it is easier than you think. In this article I am going to discuss four natural ways to help you lose weight and keep it off.

  • Cook your food in organic coconut oil. Oily foods are the worse foods for putting on weight but they are often the most delicious. By changing the oil that you use to organic coconut oil you will have less fatty oil going into your body. Coconut oil has very little fat content and it definitely won't make you put on weight.
  • Eat lots of fruit and in particular apples. Remember the saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away', well apples really are very nutritious and very healthy. It is best to eat raw, organic apples when possible as they will give you more nutrients. Apples actually help you to feel full and therefore you should eat less and they also help to stabilize blood glucose and will therefore help to prevent diabetes.
  • Do not eat fast foods. Fast foods are very high in fat and in calories and will make you gain weight really fast. Fast foods are also full of preservatives and really are very unhealthy. I know it is good to be able to eat out every now and then, but try to choose a healthier option when eating out.
  • Start doing exercise and preferably some outdoor exercise. We all need exercise for our bodies to function better and it will help you to lose weight. If you can participate in outdoor exercise you are also getting the benefit of vitamin D from the sun and all that fresh air that you are breathing in.

If you are overweight it may seem difficult to exercise but just start slowly perhaps by going for a walk every day.
